Manage the execution of proof of concept trial projects and formulate the deployment plan of applicable smart grid technologies.Identify, in collaboration with Customer Business Development, new customer services opportunities in the smart grid development.Provide insight and direction for the advanced smart grid functions and applications with good deployment potential in system.Identify new trend in the smart grid development that can be applicable in the Hong Kong distribution power grid operation.Lead the formulation of smart grid development roadmap and implementation strategy according to the smart grid vision.Develop the long term smart grid vision to fulfil the operation requirements and suit the changing business environment.The candidate is expected to lead the formulation of the roadmap for the future smart grid development of the power network to deliver new and improved services to our customers, and to meet energy challenge in an economic, sustainable and socially responsible way from one generation to the next. Reporting to the Deputy Director - Smartgrid & Innovation, the appointee will be in charge of the smart grid development.
